Biography

Childhood and family

Alexander Ryndin grew up in a family of musicians. His mother graduated from a conservatory and played three instruments; his father was also a conservatory graduate — a poet, artist and singer. From early childhood Alexander showed perfect pitch and a heightened sense of symmetry; for a time he studied the cello and drawing — a passion for painting that he kept into adulthood. His first sport was ice hockey, where he played as a goalkeeper.

Sweden

In the late 1990s Alexander emigrated to Sweden together with his mother and brother. The family lived for several years in different towns across the country, including Säffle in Värmland County; during difficult periods they were supported by a Swedish church organization that helped emigrants. Over those years Alexander learned Swedish and attended a Swedish school. The family later returned to Russia.

Return to Russia and BMX

Returning to Moscow as a teenager, Ryndin took up breakdancing and inline skating, and then extreme cycling — BMX. In the riders' community he became known by the nickname «Rambo». By the late 2000s he was among the notable Russian BMX freestylers: he was featured in specialist sports media and worked with sponsors. In total Ryndin devoted about seventeen years to BMX, eleven of them to coaching, and founded «BMX School Moscow No. 1». A series of severe sports injuries, followed by a road accident, ended his career as a professional rider.

Education

Ryndin graduated from the Moscow State University of Culture and Arts (MGUKI; since 2014 the Moscow State Institute of Culture, MGIK), Faculty of Journalism.

China

From 2014 to 2018 Ryndin lived and worked in China, changing occupations several times during that period: he taught English and drawing, worked as a guide and coach, and took part in the filming of movies and TV series. In particular, he was used in background scenes of «Master Z: Ip Man Legacy» (2018)[5].

Turning point and path to psychology

In the mid-2010s Ryndin went through a period of panic attacks and personal crisis. The search for a way out led him to work with his own subconscious: in China he met a specialist whose session noticeably eased his condition and became a turning point. Ryndin later studied yoga and meditation in Rishikesh (India) under the spiritual master Swami Prem Samdarshi[6], and after returning to Russia he trained in the subconscious-work method under Vladimir Makulov, founder of NASP.

Professional work

Ryndin works with psychosomatic conditions — allergies, stuttering, panic attacks, skin reactions — using his own method, which he calls regressive trance. It is based on a combination of the Ericksonian approach, neuro-linguistic programming (NLP) and regressive work aimed at finding the root cause of a reaction and «rewriting» it. Ryndin places his method within the cognitive-behavioral and Ericksonian paradigm. He also lectures on psychosomatics and publishes educational psychological content.

Blogging and street interviews

Ryndin runs a blog about relationship psychology on Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, VK and Dzen. He gained the greatest recognition with the format of street interviews with women at Patriarch's Ponds in Moscow, where he asks them about their expectations in relationships and what they are ready to give in return. The format's calling card became a direct question to passers-by — «How much do you earn?». By his own figures, by 2026 the project numbered more than nine hundred such conversations and gathered millions of views on social media. The combined audience of his blogs exceeds 300,000 followers: more than 100,000 on Instagram, over 55,000 on YouTube, about 45,000 on TikTok, and 26,000 each on VK and Dzen[7]. The format became recognizable and spawned imitators among aspiring interviewers. Guests of his episodes include blogger Amiran Sardarov and marketing consultant Alexander Levitas.

Ryndin has repeatedly appeared on Russian television as a guest participant. In February 2024 he appeared as a footwear expert on the show «Eto Normalno?» (Is This Normal?) on TNT (hosts Olga Buzova and Dmitry Dibrov)[3], and in April 2024 he was the subject of the «Date on Roller Skates» episode of the show «Boginya Svidaniy» (Dating Goddess) on the Subbota! channel[4]. Earlier, in 2014, he was a guest on the «Profitroli» program on Radio Mayak (VGTRK), where he talked about BMX[2].

Today

Since the mid-2020s Ryndin has combined private psychological practice and lectures with blogging and producing other authors. In parallel he studies programming on his own, developing his own web services and apps. He lives and works in Moscow.
